Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, BSc., M.A., L.L.B., enrolled as an Advocate in the year 1983 and qualified as an Advocate on Record in the year 1993. He has actively been working with various state and centre utilities (PSUs), corporations, State electricity boards and utilities, nationalized and cooperative banks, medical and engineering colleges, educational institutions, private companies, embassies. He laid the foundation of the firm as an expert of various fields. He is multilingual and also holds Diploma in Law of Air and Outer Space from Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi, Diploma in Constitutional Law and Diploma in Parliamentary Institutions and Procedures from Institute of Constitutional Law, New Delhi.

He has a vast experience in civil, criminal and service matters in the Supreme Court of India, High Court of Delhi, the subordinate courts and tribunals across Delhi. He also has vast experience in dispute resolution work, including company/commercial matters with many reportable judgments in his name including 11-Judge, 9-Judge, 7-Judge and 5-Judge Constitutional Benches. With his Diploma in Constitutional law and parliamentary procedures, he is an expert in Constitutional matters.

In his vast practice spanning over 38 years, he has held prestigious positions and worked for various clients across various fields. He was the junior Standing Counsel for the Union of India in the Himachal Pradesh High Court at Shimla, Standing Counsel DESU, DVB, Delhi Transco and DPCL. He was appointed as the AoR for APSEB (now known as APTRANSCO), Andhra Pradesh Power Utilities, TSTRANSCO, Telangana State Power Utilities, UPPCL, Power Department Sikkim Government, Madhya Pradesh Power Utilities. He also served as Special Counsel for Delhi Govt. Power Department, Special Counsel for Delhi Government Environment Department, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam, Uttarakhand Peyjal Nigam. He has also been Counsel for TWAD Board Tamil Nadu in Supreme Court, Counsel for APMC Mumbai, along with being the AoR for Cooperative banks across India, Counsel for Private Medical Colleges, Counsel for various Engineering Colleges, Counsel for Ichalkaranji Municipal Council, Maharashta, Counsel for mining companies in Supreme Court of India. He appears before the Supreme Court, various High Courts across India, Tribunals, Commissions and Subordinate Courts.
